Welcome International Students!
Stansfield College extends a very warm welcome to all international students. Ever since we were first established in 1993 we have always sought to maintain a strong international flavour both in terms of our programmes, academic faculty and, not least of all, our students. Together with our specialisation in University of London Degree and Diploma Programmes and international faculty, having an international student body ensures that we offer a truly ‘global’ learning environment.

While studying overseas offers a valuable opportunity to gain international experience, at Stansfield we also understand that initially it can also be quite difficult. Being away from one’s home, family and friends is unnerving. Moreover, getting used to a different country, cultural habits and customs can be a challenge. We pride ourselves in the support services we offer to our international students. Parents can rest assured that their children are being well looked after and supported. Most of our academic staff have studied overseas themselves so they are very familiar with the kinds of problems some international students face. They are, therefore, in a good position to be able to offer the right kind of encouragement. Our student counsel also includes international students which means that they can also offer a further informal support system. Our induction programmes also include a specific component for providing international students with information and support for their studies.

The extensive pastoral care for international students is backed up with a strong administrative support offering sponsorship and advice about immigration procedures and requirements. We also have a designated English Language Department with EFL specialists to support your language skills.
