Many CEOs, doctors, accountants and other professionals choose to do the law degree through the graduate entry route to help them understand the complex nature of law and how it relates to their professions or simply for the challenge of it.

It is rapidly becoming recognised by many professionals working across a number of industries that increasingly employers are viewing those with a degree in law as a huge asset to their company.

Additionally, studying law enables an individual to develop sound analytical and reasoning skills and the ability to understand, rationalise and express complex ideas and theories.

Many professionals choose to study law in order to set themselves apart and stay ahead of the competition.

For those in possession of a degree qualification in another discipline, the Graduate Entry route is ideal. For most working adults' time is of the essence, therefore a key advantage over the normal entry route is that this course requires less units to be completed over a shorter time period of just two years.

This degree is recommended if you:

• You are seeking to gain sound knowledge of law in order to facilitate a change of career.

 • You are seeking to gain sound knowledge of law because it is relevant to your current occupation and it will serve to enhance your career opportunities.

• You are seeking to study law purely out of interest or as a personal challenge.

* Note: If you intend to practise as a lawyer, barrister or solicitor, we strongly recommend that you check on the requirements of the professional body in the country in which you wish to practise before committing yourself to the degree.

Programme Structure

The degree consists of 9 units when taken through the 2 or 3 year Graduate Entry Route. In order to beligible, students must have a prior degree accepted by the University of London.
