The study of English Literature offers a diversity of possibilities
to students on the University of London B.A in English, both in
the choice of careers as well as providing insight and an understanding
of world we live in.
The study of English Literature is multi-disciplinary
and no other subject offers students such a diverse approach academically.
Literature covers facets of sociology but more subjectively, it
studies history often with a more colourful and imaginative spirit,
it incorporates science and it considers religion and politics
but in a less constrained manner.
In itself, the study of English Literature will
be stimulating and challenging, but perhaps more importantly,
the programme develops students with distinctive attributes; culturally
sophisticated, articulate, creative and the ability to engage
and look with a deeper understanding and awareness upon the world
before them.
That you have chosen to consider the study of
English Literature is no coincidence. Students on the programme
at Stansfield are distinctive by their ability to interact, express
and communicate their ideas and thoughts as well as their vibrant
and lively approach to their studies.
