In today’s competitive world, it is not really possible for anyone to rise high without first possessing a good undergraduate degree. With so many alternative degrees available, choosing a good degree can be confusing.

Firstly, not all degrees are equal. There are many who compromise and cheat themselves by taking short-cuts and who would prefer an easier option to the degree route.

The University of London degrees through the international study option has been available since 1858 and provides opportunities for those who are either late bloomers or are unable to pursue an internationally recognised degree due to work commitments. As a University of London graduate myself, I am well aware of its rigorous and sound assessment system whilst allowing open access to many who may not otherwise qualify for a good degree education.

Secondly, it is important that you choose a degree which is relevant and appropriate to your areas of interest. At the undergraduate level, it is best to take a more broad-based or double degrees unless you are very clear about your career. The B.Sc in Economics and Management and the B.Sc in Management with Law are double degrees whilst the B.Sc in Business and the B.Sc in Management are much sought after general degrees.

If your desire is to be successful in the commercial world, it is important that you obtain a good degree that further demonstrates your desire to work hard. Compared to the local Universities, the University of London is much more recognised globally as well. The degree that you receive is from University of London in association with London School of Economics as your examinations are set and marked by faculty from London School of Economics.

I look forward to seeing you on Stansfield's University of London Business and Management degrees!
