| ADMISSION
CRITERIA
Admission into the programme is by an admission
test and an interview with the member of the CIM selection panel.
Student must have Basic English skills (written and oral) and
be at least 17 years of age by 1st December in the year of enrolment.
PROGRESSION
Four year undergraduate programme: We can offer
an international students with the appropriate qualifications
a place on the Certificate in Management followed by three years
of undergraduate study to degree level. Your place on an undergraduate
programme is guaranteed provided you pass the Certificate in
Management programme with the required grades. During the programme,
we give you advice on the degree options available to you and
help you select the most appropriate programme. Any offer of
a place on an undergraduate programme at Stansfield College
will be conditional on the student reaching a satisfactory level
on the foundation course.
GRADUATION CEREMONY
Students on the CIM programme may attend the
graduation ceremony held at the end of every academic year.
Graduates will be gowned and will be presented with their certificate
scroll from the College.
INTERNATIONAL
STUDENT VISA
Stansfield assists students with the student
visa application and sponsorship. As an SQC institution students
applying with the college will have their applications processed
under 2 weeks through the special green lane quick approval
provided all documents are in order. Students from China would
also not be required to attend any screening interviews by the
Singapore embassy in Beijing as with other non SQC schools.
The student would be provided with a student visa for the entire
duration of the course.
HOSTEL ACCOMODATION
An experience that promises to be unique to
Stansfield, students of the college enjoy the option of staying
at our very own student hostel. The hostel is one of the largest
private halls for students in Singapore and is located in pleasant
surroundings offering a safe and comfortable 'home away from
home'.
ASSESSMENT AND
AWARD
The Certificate in Management examination is
set and marked by Stansfield's experienced academic faculty
who teach and prepare students for the rigorous University of
London examinations. Awards of distinction, credit and pass
will be allocated respectively. Students at Stansfield are continuously
assessed in the form of assignment, project and tests throughout
the academic year in preparation for the final written examinations
held at the end of the academic year. At the end of the second
and third terms students are required to sit for the college's
term assessment. Assessment weightage may vary from module to
module and some modules may carry some coursework/project requirements.
