Why Pursue a Diploma
The University of London diplomas are the equivalent of the first year of the degree. These diplomas will be useful for those who seek to obtain an internationally recognized degree from either the UK, Australia, USA or other countries. A special feature of these diplomas is that they enable students a “through train” approach without the need to complete either the GCE ‘A’ levels or its equivalent qualifications. It will therefore be of interest to those who want a faster way to obtain a high quality degree.
Students who complete the University of London diplomas will be able to obtain one full year exemption for transfers into one of the University of London colleges such as the London School of Economics.
Students may also transfer to a number of Universities around the world by obtaining credit exemptions for the subjects they have successfully completed.
Which diploma is for you?
One of the objectives of the University of London diplomas is that it allows for a more flexible entry into the University of London degrees by international study options.
The Diploma in Economics allows for transfers with one year exemption from the following University of London degrees: B.Sc Accounting and Finance, B.Sc Banking and Finance, B.Sc Business, B.Sc Management, B.Sc Economics and Management, B.Sc Economics, B.Sc Economics and Finance, B.Sc Mathematics and Economics & B.Sc Information System and Management.
The Diploma in Law allows for transfers with one-year exemption from the University of London Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree.
The Diploma in English allows for transfers with one-year exemption from the University of London Bachelor of Arts in English degree.
