Course Components
  • Economics
    This course considers approaches to logical analysis of social and individual decision-making relating to core economic theories. It also focuses on individual, household and business patterns of consumption; saving and strategy; and explores the link between individual, organisational and governmental behaviours.

  • Management
    This course considers individual and organisational themes in management and the application of contemporary management theory as a key to maximising performance. It also includes foundation subjects in managing other in business context.

  • Accounting
    People who manage businesses and make critical decisions need information. This course provides students with foundations of accounting practice including how data is gathered and communicated to management. It also links data collection and communication with organisational strategy.

  • Mathematics
    This course provides students with a solid foundation in Mathematics. It introduces the basic concepts of Probability and Mathematics of Finance.

  • Business Communication
    English for academic and business purpose covering specialist vocabulary in preparation for management/business related study and communication. Students would be expected to carry out projects and presentations for this module.

  • English for academic purpose (EAP) & Study skills
    As a part of our academic support, Stansfield College provides a structured EPA and study skills programme. These additional sessions are an integral component of the Certificate in Management programme and provide students with the foundation necessary for undergraduate studies. Essential study techniques, reading and writing skills, examination techniques and critical analysis will be covered.
